The Kingdom Of God, Mark 1:15

Mark 1:15 "The kingdom of God is near Repent and believe the good news." When the Supernatural makes contact with the planet Earth, God takes an approach that we need not fear. Introducing Jesus, the Son of God; coming out of obscurity, this unique God - Man preaches, performs miracles and encounters both great popularity and deadly opposition. God didn't give us the spirit of fear but a sound mind.

Does God Listen To Our Cries ? Matthew 27:46

Matthew 27:46 About ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani ?" - which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me ?" Does God listen to our cries? We must leave the unknowable to the all knowing One. He is listening and working things out His way, and in His time! When we bend our knees to pray, God bends His ears to listen.

God's Generosity, Proverbs 11:23-31

Proverbs 11:23-31 "A generous person will prosper, whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. " Proverbs 11:25. When we are generous with others, we're likely to experience generosity. But we shouldn't give, expecting something in return. But when we're generous, God is pleased, and often finds a way to refresh us, sometimes materially, and other times spiritually.

Jesus' Love For Us, Acts 9:1-22

Acts 9:1-22 "At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God. " Acts 9:20. Once Paul was one of the most feared persecutors of the church, until his encounter with Christ. His drastic transformation added to the credibility of his Spirit empowered teaching. Our first personal encounter with Jesus may not be as dramatic as Paul's, but Christ's love is changing us over time.

Faith, Genesis 39:6-12, 20-23

Genesis 39:6-12, 20-23 While Joseph was there in the prison, the Lord was with him. Genesis 39:20-21 In the account from Genesis 37 , Joseph had no idea what would happen to him after he was mercilessly sold by his brothers to the merchants who took him to Egypt and sold him to Potiphar. He found himself in a culture surrounded by people who believed in many gods. To make things worse, he was falsely accused, leading to his being sent to the prison. Yet God did not abandon him. Not only was He with Joseph, but He "gave him success in everything he did " and even "showed him kindness and granted him favor " with those in authority.

Obedience, Luke 23:32-46

Luke 23:32-46 "The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life.... No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. " John 10:17-18. Even in his final hours, Jesus showed His love for us. He showed it to the mocking soldiers who nailed Him, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. " He gave hope to a criminal, crucified with Him, "...today you will be with me in paradise. " Looking at John, He told His mother, "...here is your son ". And, He told to John, "Here is your mother. " Jesus' last act of obedience and love was to trust the Father, "Into your hands I commit my spirit. "
