God Is Our Fortress, Psalm 46

Psalm 46 "The Lord Almighty is with us, the God of Jacob is our fortress. " Psalm 46:7. It is tempting to rationalize that the presence of trouble means the absence of God. But the truth of scripture counters such view. "The Lord Almighty is with us, the God of Jacob is our fortress, " He is present when our circumstances are unbearable, and we find comfort in Him.

A TEACHER’S TRIBUTE TO STUDENTS

Teaching is a passion, and my experience as a teacher has been beautiful, emotional and fulfilling. Over the years, I’ve watched the student – teacher equation evolve: From Guru, as all-knowing to Guru as friend and equal, as someone who doesn’t always know the best.
